Hi there and happy Monday morning to you.  Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Ours was fun and quite busy. A big party Sat. night, amazing the power of a turquoise necklace! It solved all my wardrobe woes:) Got to see Blue Jasmine and loved it (as I do nearly all Woody Allen films) it was done really well, and Cate's performance was spectacular! I definitely recommend it. The weather around these parts was nothing short of perfection . I mean seriously incredible, no humidity, 70's, bright sunny skies..almost cool at night,no complaints over here:)

It has forced me to realize fall is not so far away. I have succumbed to the fact that summer is winding down with only about 3 weeks left to go, the start of school and the many back to school sales are a sure reminder, football practice is starting and of course  fall is beckoning and getting louder every day with subtle little hints. The bright side is of course that I love fall weather, comfort foods and of course all the beautiful fall fashions!

Every season I buy at least one really good coat, one that I am totally in love with and will feel like a million bucks wearing. It is afterall a very long season and I get a lot of mileage out of my good classics.  So I got busy and admittedly had fun checking out some of the new coats. Which would you choose?

Hi there! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I enjoyed my "down day" yesterday to putter around the house and go on my computer blogging and "pinteresting" away to my hearts content. I think one day a week needs to be set aside for some quiet down time, I always feel so energized once I do and no one is going to take care of "us" like ourselves!

I equate chic summer dressing with the color white (and all its many shades). This week we are going to a fundraiser where none other than the talented Kelly Clarkson is performing and I was thinking it is the perfect excuse to go and get a new summer dress...and of course white is what came immediately  to mind!

So.....today's post is all about white dresses. I love so many here, actually all of them so it is very hard for me to narrow it down to a few much less just one! I feel white in the summer against golden skin is always so elegant and crisp looking. How about you? Does white always seem right to you too?

I am so sorry...I know I made this very difficult. As I always do I will get the comments started with one of my own, and trust me this comment involved many trips back to look at all these dresses,there were so many to love but admittedly there were two that totally "wowed" me from the start. How would you accessorize the white dress you chooses? Jewelry? Shoes? Bag? Come on...you know I love details:)

Oh boy...so many pretties!! I actually have my eye on a few for this exercise in restraint:)  Not an easy choice. I do love my earth tones, and my wardrobe largely consists of things in the tans, creams, blacks and charcoals but come spring and summer, I love to add color....such a great time to embrace fun uplifting colors and prints so the idea of adding a little pop is kind of fun!  Your turn......can't wait to hear!

Which would you choose? Golden Globes edition!

Hi there and happy Sunday afternoon to you. I don't normally post on the weekends, but on occasion there is a good reason to. The Golden Globes being one such good reason. Are you watching? Admittedly (call me vain) I love the pre show and fashions way more than having to endure the looooong award show. I love to see what everyone is wearing, normally I walk away with a clear cut winner in my mind and unfortunately many who disappoint. I sometimes think, with every resource known to mankind and that's the best you can do?
