Richmond Homes wins a coveted Herald Property Award 2013 for 'Best Family Home'

We’re delighted to be the recipients of a prestigious Herald Property Award 2013 for our bespoke family home at St Andrews in East Fife. The five bedroom house named ‘Auld Lang Syne’ won ‘Best Family Home’ with the judges describing it as “a beautifully spacious and unique property set in a fantastic location”.

Wining an award like this means a lot to our team.  The Herald Property Awards have built a strong reputation for discovering and applauding the best new properties and renovation projects across Scotland, and being singled out among the hugely talented entrants and tough competition is a wonderful accolade.

The award also means a lot to our client, who came to us with a clear remit - to create a spacious family home with room to live, work, play and relax.  As a former student of St Andrews University, he had always dreamed of returning with his family to settle in this idyllic corner of East Fife. Working closely with out client to meet their individual needs as a family and using the latest green solutions for living and creative design techniques, the end result is an affordable yet luxurious dynamic family home, full of space, light and contemporary features. ‘Auld Lang Syne’ also enjoys stunning views across the coastline and skyline of this historic town, just minutes from its medieval centre and the iconic White Sands beach.
